Her right ankle bones are held together with a bunch of bolts and screws. She needs a new left knee. And the arthritis in her fingers gives her fits.
But her brain apparently doesn’t care, because pretty much every day it bleats the same mantra: Mo-to cross! Mo-to cross!

Back in the ’80s, Gale Webb made headlines as America’s Motocross Mom. Now that she’s 64 years old and has a grandson, motocross gramma is more like it.

Double podium finish for Sarah Bennett-Baggs!

Sarah’s inaugural outing in her new loaned 911 SC won her a double podium finish at Silverstone over the weekend. Extending her points for 2nd in the Championship.
Sarah Bennett-Baggs returned to the Porsche Club Championship at Silverstone last weekend - following a huge accident at Castle Combe three weeks ago, which wrote off her beautiful pink 1978 Porsche 911 SC.
Sarah was loaned an identical car Porsche 911, which was quickly prepared with her engine and gearbox by Harvey Racing, then wrapped in an eye-catching pink furry wrap by Cre8, Potters Bar based Creative Agency. [Read more]
Gabi DiCarlo Road Course

Denver, NC (September 22, 2008) - Although the cars will be much heavier and have more horsepower, Gabi DiCarlo driver of the Stringer Motorsports number 90 Great Clips Racing Toyota Camry is ready for the challenges of a road course. The ARCA RE/MAX series in which DiCarlo competes will make a stop at the brand new Thunderbolt Raceway 2.3 mile paved road course in New Jersey Motorsports Park. Amanda Whitaker races at Brands and Cadwell in one weekend!

County Durham’s fast female had a busy weekend when she raced at opposite ends of the Country this weekend, taking a class win in the process despite mechanical gremlins.
She first raced her 1971 Elden Mk8 in her regular series HSCC Formula Ford at Brands Hatch on Saturday. She qualified 4th only 4 tenths of a second away from Pole sitter Darren Burke. She stayed in the same position in the race, although felt she could have challenged for a win had it not been for an overheating and down on power engine. Brea Lopez Races To Second Place In Her Return To Racing

Brea Lopez made a triumphant return to racing on August 30th when she drove her Brea Lopez Motorsports Racing Team Midget to a solid runnerup finish at the Ephrata Raceway Park in a Washington Midget Racing Association sanctioned event. The team had last raced on July 12th when they competed at the South Sound Speedway, but even with the lengthy amount of time off and sitting on the sidelines, the spirited Lopez was on her A-Game as she returned back behind the wheel of her race car. Ephrata has always been a good track for Lopez as the last time in, she ran a solid third in the event with only defending series Champion Evan Margeson and rookie star Mark Atkinson in front of her. Tony Seidleman and 15 year old Logan Forler completed the top five running order in that event.

Sarah Wheery gets two wins at Cadwell

Grimsby lady car racer Sarah Wherry managed to get two first in class wins at Cadwell Park on Saturday the 6th in her Toyota MR2 MK2 2L, it was the first time she has raced the car in the Nippon Challenge a new series set up for any Japanese cars to race in,”I was racing against Evo`s,Subaru`s,Nissan`s ,Mazda`s and Honda`s it was great racing in difficult wet conditions, “so to get the wins at my local circuit was brilliant said Sarah”. Cindy McCain doesn’t remember all the details. It might have been six years ago. Maybe seven. But this much, at least, McCain recalls with perfect clarity: She was watching television with her oldest son, Jack, when footage flashed across the screen of race cars skidding sideways as though they were on ice.

Misty Balser’s Irwindale Race Report

After running her INEX Legend Series car at The Bullring in, Las Vegas, where she qualified 6th, and run up has high as third in the main before break issues caused her to pull off the track, Misty took out the MotorspotsWeb.com Bandolero this past Saturday at the Toyota Speedway @ Irwindale.
