Fremont, Ohio (April 17, 2012) - Ali Kern Motorsports announced today that Crown Battery will once again support the young up-and-coming racer this year as she competes on the JEGS/CRA All Star Tour. It marks the fifth consecutive season that the Fremont, Ohio-based Crown Battery has supported Kern with her racing efforts. Crown Battery has been a supporter of Kern as she has climbed the ranks from karting to modifieds and now late models.

Crown Battery has watched Kern,18, prove herself to be a talented, young female driver. She won her first asphalt late model touring series championship last year claiming the Template Body Racing Association (TBRA) championship in her first year on the former Bounty Series tour that competes on five tracks throughout northern Ohio and Pennsylvania. Not only did Kern win the series championship, but also took home Rookie of the Year honors in her first full year behind a full body late model. This season, Crown Battery will sponsor Kern as she moves up in competition on the JEGS/CRA All Star Tour. It’s a challenge Kern is ready for.

With the championship last year, Kern joined a select and elite crowd of recent young female drivers who have won a title in full-body stock cars including Johanna Long and Chrissy Wallace.
