(TOLEDO, Ohio – February 23, 2012) – ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards fans voted Leilani Münter’s No. 12 “The Cove”/Dolphins Awareness Dodge as the best-looking color scheme from Saturday’s Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 at Daytona International Speedway.
Münter won by an overwhelming margin, taking 125 of the 355 first-place votes over 24 hours via ARCA’s social networking platforms: Facebook, Twitter, and ARCA Nation. Points were awarded on a 3-2-1 scale for voters’ top three choices, and Münter earned 388 points overall.
Voters lauded the combination of a sharp color scheme and a meaningful message aboard the driver’s Tony Marks Racing entry.
Mikey Kile (No. 1 ModSpace Ford) finished second with 56 first-place votes and 183 points, just ahead of Brett Hudson (No. 09 Hudson Performance Drivelines Dodge, 35, 118).
The rest of the top 10 included: Ryan Reed (No. 15 JDRF Chevrolet, 32, 104.5); Mike Harmon (No. 31 American Heroes Ford, 25, 80); Chad Hackenbracht (No. 58 Tastee Chocolate Apples Chevrolet, 22, 68); Max Gresham (No. 9 Made in USA Chevrolet, 14, 48); Frank Kimmel (No. 44 Ansell/Menards Toyota, 9, 37); Will Kimmel (No. 68 Enterprise Software Development Ford, 6, 23); and Milka Duno (No. 33 Milka Way Chevrolet, 4, 13).
Other drivers whose cars received first-place votes were Sean Corr, Brennan Poole, Darrell Basham, Terry Jones, Drew Charlson, Bobby Gerhart, Brandon Davis, Cale Gale, Brandon McReynolds, Larry Barford Jr., Alex Bowman, Alex Kennedy, Fain Skinner, Steve Blackburn, Buster Graham, Donnie Neuenberger, and Paulie Harraka.
Tom Hessert, Sloan Henderson, Nelson Canache, Matt Lofton, Zach Ralston, Chris Buescher, George Cushman, Spencer Gallagher, and Mark Thompson all received votes.
