Ferns said, “ I am excited to be a guest on The Tom Baker Show Tonight to discuss my racing background. This will be a great year and I’d like to thank my sponsors for the 2012 race season. I’m excited for Dea Eyewear, their line of sunglasses are coming to Wal Mart towards the end of summer. Also, thank you to my sponsors, eBay Motors and Simpson Race Products. I am proud to be sponsored by such great companies and also look forward to the 2012 race season with All Star Performance, Butler Built Seats, Lansing Sanitary Supply (LSS), and Race4Girls. I am excited for the 2012 season and know it will be great! “
Ferns has a broad spectrum of experience that she will bring to the 2012 Lorz Motorsports program. On top of her diverse racing background, she is an avid skier and an active member in her high school’s community service effort. Ferns said, “ It is important to give back to your community. I believe that you are never too young to make a difference where you live.”
The Tom Baker Show is hosted by 20 year motorsports veteran Tom Baker. He brings his unique brand of radio featuring news, analysis and interviews from inside America’s most popular spectator sport to a nationwide audience on www.tombakershow.com. “I am looking forward to letting our audience get to know Taylor a little better. She is a very focused and determined young racer who just happens to be a female, and the fact that she’s been able to be successful in Open-Wheel type cars on pavement and dirt shows she has the ability to climb the ladder in our sport. She works very hard at her craft and that quality has earned her some well-deserved attention. Our listeners will really be amazed at what she’s accomplished for only being 16.”
