(8-30-2011) MONCKS CORNER, SC – Drag racing for over 22 years is an accomplishment that Carol and Kenny Long feel blessed to have done so far. This husband and wife team who compete with several Pro Mod clubs, and at many local Quick 8 shootouts in their 1963 Jerry Bickle Corvette have earned Carol the nickname “She Devil”.

The Long Racing Team is made up of her husband and crew chief Kenny Long, David May, Tim Poole, and Dean Altman. This weekend, after some time away to repair and upgrade the blown ’63 Vette, the She Devil Carol Long, who is recognized as the Extreme Outlaw Pro Mods’ 1st Lady, will return to action for the first ever Quick 8 Outlaws Vs. The World event at Union County Dragway to proudly represent her sponsor the World Motorsports Breast Cancer Foundation and Dr. Tom Pollard.

The World Motor Sports Breast Cancer Foundation who also recently started to sponsor Pro Extreme superstar Frankie Taylor is a charitable organization that raises money for the victims of breast cancer. It also provides grants to clinics for mammograms and schools/community centers for educational programs on breast cancer awareness and self testing.
