2011 Successful Season for Tammy Wolf and TVR

As the 2012 powerboat racing season closes, TVR is ecstatic to announce another successful season. Although the season ended with a bang instead of a boom at the National Championships in Illinois, the team still broke records.

The #8, Formula 3 powerboat driven by Tammy Wolf with crew chief, Sam Haraway’s guidance was able to gain a Divisional Title in West Virginia. This is the first, women driven team that has obtained this title in Formula 3 racing. We are also the only team with a women driver that has won two races in the American Powerboat Superleague Series. Last season, the team won the Regional Championship in Indiana and now a title of Divisional Champion.

In October, Tammy will be the second women in the American Powerboat Superleague Series 25 year history to win the Iron Women Award. Tammy and the team have run 30 consecutive races. This is an extremely elite group that Tammy and the team are now inducted into.

At the conclusion of the season the team finished 4th in Powerboat Superleague Series Points and ranked 6th in the United States.
