Detota and Warren Head to Rally West Virginia with New Sponsors

The duo of Erika Detota and navigator Mary Warren are excited to get back in the car for Rally West Virginia, July 27-28; with some new parts on the car.

This will be a debut for Detota and Warren on the roads of West Virginia. The organizers prepared over 167 competitive stage miles for the crews including a 2.5 mile tarmac hillclimb stage at the resort.
    “I was lucky to get some seat time during a test session  before the event.” comments Detota. “I am happy with the car setup we were able to achieve and am looking forward to a great event.”

The rally will begin on Friday with ceremonial start at the top of Snowshoe Mountain. The cars will begin racing on the gravel roads around the area on Saturday and continue throughout the day on Sunday.

    “We are excited to be back in the car and compete on dirt roads this time around,” says Detota’s co-driver, Mary Warren. “The true test of our work in the car will be 23 miles stage done at night. We will really need to focus at night,” she adds.

The event is part of 2013 NASA National Rally Championship and the top three in each 2WD and 4WD category will receive invitation to the final run off round at Prescott, AZ later in the year.
