Kuja Racing will be fielding another female racer in this upcoming weekend World Supersport Championship at Misano.
After Paola Cazzola who was dropped after four rounds, but is now making a comeback in a new team, Kuja Racing has entered 28 year old Hungarian rider Nikolett Kovács to replace Andrea Boscoscuro, who injured himself during a training accident at the Mugello.
Niki as she is know, won the Dunlop Trophy for Ladies in 2009 and she’s also the Female lap record holder at the Hungaroring circuit and took third in the Women’s European Championship. In 2007 she was the first Hungarian woman to take part as a wildcard in the 125cc Gran Prix in Turkey, but she did not qualify for the race.
