Motorcycle-USA.com is increasing its presence in the Motorcycle-Superstore.com Women’s Motocross Championship by creating the Golden Ticket ride and related fan programs. With the collaboration of Langston Motorsports, a full line dealership and performance shop with a  rich history in professional racing, the Golden Ticket ride will help WMX racer Vicki Golden compete for the championship at all eight of the WMX rounds this summer and the X Games on a Kawasaki KX 250F.

“Motorcycle-USA.com is a leader in covering motorsports and we are now looking at ways we can give back to motorcycling,” said Motorcycle-USA.com Editorial Director Ken Hutchison. “By providing an opportunity like this for Vicki, we are aligning ourselves with a great talent and some great partners. This isn¹t just a great opportunity for Vicki, but one for all of us involved.”

Golden is in her third year as a professional rider and the 18-year-old has been on a fast track throughout her career. She was leading the WMX Class Rookie-of-the-Year standings in 2009 before a hard crash sidelined her for five months. She returned to finish fourth in the WMX standings in 2010 and has three podium finishes in her career. Golden made history in 2011, becoming the first woman to qualify for an AMA Arenacross Lites class main event.

The ride will include race equipment, full time race mechanic, the performance expertise of Langston Motorsports, and part time coaching from Grant Langston of Langston Racing Academy.

“I¹m really excited about the opportunity to race at such a high level,” said Golden. “I am so happy to be working with Motorcycle-USA.com and Langston Motorsports. I¹ve only had a few weeks on my new Kawasaki and I love it. The bike fits me, and my style like a glove. We have a lot of tough competition in the WMX Class but I’m ready for the challenge.”

Vicki¹s Golden Ticket will also include written and video features on motorcycle-usa.com as well as a weekly blog where she will show all of the excitement of being a professional motocross racer and chronicle her quest for WMX National wins and X Games Gold. Additional fan programs will be announced later this summer.
