Sam Burman (www.samburman.co.uk) is looking forward to a successful weekend’s racing at Cadwell on May 17th and 18th, where she will be racing her Honda RS in 125cc in both the 125 class in the Thundersport Championship.
Sam has had a mixed start to the 2008 season, overcoming crashes, illness and severe weather conditions to get back on the podium at Brands Hatch with a 3rd place finish.
A further crash at Snetterton, where Sam was taken out by a rider working his way through the pack, meant a back of the grid start for the second race of the day, which ended in Sam claiming a creditable 8th place.
The determined young racer is looking to improve lap times and once again be challenging for the lead at the demanding Cadwell circuit.
“It has been a really mixed start to the season,” Sam reflects, “out of all the meetings so far we have only had five dry races and the crashes have not helped …but I feel really confident with the bike and as Cadwell is my local track, I am looking forward to a successful weekend’s racing.”
