After winning and finishing fifth overall in the Legends Winter Series in the Semi-Pro division Adams has been moved up to the Professional division in the 600 Racing’s Legend Car Series. She is expected to be extremely competitive against the best racers in the Texas region.
“Legends racing in the South is as equally competitive to the Legends racing here in Charlotte,” remarks Don Nugent (Charlotte native, and Lindsey’s manager/marketing partner), “We moved Lindsey up because we feel she is ready to race against the best, and beat the best. The decision was made by Lindsey’s family and myself as a whole, and we are ready for some consistent finishes and hope for a win down the road.”
Though Adams has only competed in a select few races her skills have developed quickly and she has shown maturity on and off the track.
“I am here, in the Legends car series, to learn and gain experience on ovals. Driving these cars and having wheel to wheel racing will help me hone my skills and prepare me for driving a full sized stock car. This is the best training that I can get while waiting for Trinity Marketing and Development to gain us a marketing partner,” Lindsey commented when asked about her move to the Pro Division.
