It is hard to believe that the 2013 racing season is nearing its end. On October 6th, the US Legend Cars National Oval Points came to a close. Lacie Price ended up 7th in the nation out of 363 drivers in the Semi-Pro Division, and locked up the California State Championship for the 2nd year in a row. Additionally, she was crowned the 2013 Semi-Pro Division Champion at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. “It was a really great season for us this year. We learned a lot and made drastic improvements each week,” Lacie commented. Lacie has already competed in nearly 50 races and still has a few more on the road course before the end of the year. Currently, Lacie sits 5th in National road course points, and is well on her way to the California State Semi-Pro Championship for road course as well. “None of my success this season would have been possible without my crew chief, Dustin Ash. He has worked with me relentlessly and helped me improve as a driver both on and off the racetrack,” Lacie mentioned when asked about her accomplishments thus far. Lacie would also like to thank her sponsors, Gene Price Motorsports, Dustin Ash Motorsports, Ron’s Rear Ends, GoPro, DJ Safety, Simpson Race Products, Terrible Herbst Motorsports, Duprau Industries, Roger Seymour Photography, and of course her parents. “We’ve got some big plans in the works for the 2014 season,” Lacie mentioned, “So keep your eyes peeled for an announcement on Facebook!” Lacie’s next race is at Sonoma Raceway on October 26th and 27th. You can keep up with her on Facebook by liking her page “Lacie Price Racing”, and following her on twitter @raceylacie.
