The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series heads to Pocono this weekend and our eyes are on the ladies of the series. In this first race for the NCWTS at the Tri-Oval is sure to be a spectacular show. Both Jennifer Jo Cobb and Michelle Theriault are heading to the triangular track this weekend.
Jennifer Jo Cobb the only woman running a full schedule in any of the top NASCAR series’ is very excited to take on the newest track to the series. Her press release states that she is looking forward to being a part of history as a driver of the first NCWTS race at this fabled track. Cobb believes that her team being new to most of the tracks they have raced on this season gives them an advantage. She said that “We’ve learned how to adapt quickly and come up to speed without any prior notes. We didn’t have setup packages or any previous experience at most of the events so far, so Pocono won’t be too much different.”
Newcomer Michelle Theriault is also hoping to make the field of this historic event in her second NCWTS event. Theriault who made her truck series debut last weekend in Indianapolis is looking forward to her second race in the series. She was quoted in her latest press release saying that she will be watching the series veterans to gain knowledge of the track.
