Michelle Furr drops us an email about her great weekend at Atlanta last weekend! Read below!
We are just thrilled to have won another wally this weekend at the Lucas Oil Division 2 event at Atlanta Dragway! The Camaro laid down some impressive passes on a 150 degree track to take the win in Super Street. We also made some awesome runs with the dragster in Super Comp as we came close to capturing that elusive double event win yet again! We lost at 3 for a semi-final round finish in Super Comp in what was a very close race with both drivers .00 off the starting line and my making the wrong decision to give the stripe rather than take it. Even though we were unable to double, it still made for another one of those special ’lifetime memory’ weekends for our family.
With the heat index reaching over 100 degrees and NHRA trying to get the race in before an approaching storm, it provided for a very busy, hot afternoon. We absolutely could not be happier with the performance of our race cars, both cars with incremental times within thousandths round after round. We have put together a winning combination and are so happy to be supported by the very best in the business! It is a great feeling to know your race car is going to perform under the toughest conditions and that would simply not be possible with you. We can’t thank you enough for your support.
