David Sterckx (Belgium) and Karen Jankowski (California) of David Sterckx Rally Sport Team, winners
of the 2011 Prescott Rally, have entered the Rally America national championship. With just six events
which begin at the Sno*Drift rally January 27th & 28th, it promises to be an exciting season.

In the off season the team built a brand new 2011 Subaru STI in order to compete for the Super
Production title. The car promises to provide the speed and consistency that the team needs in order to be
highly competitive.

“I am really looking forward to the new car and competing in the Rally America Championship which I
know is a great series” explained David. “The main reason I chose to build a new Subaru is because of
their support of both USA and Canadian rallying. The contingency packages that they have offered in
both the Rally America and Canada Rally Series has been impressive. Since we plan on running both in
the future it just made sense to build a Subaru.”

David has had many years of motorsport experience including a Belgium Rally Championship, 3 WRC
starts for Skoda Octavia Rally team, Toyota Atlantic series, World Championship FIA GT series, FIA
Sportscar Championship series, and many other sports car and rally events worldwide.

The team is also very excited to announce the continued partnership with AlphaSTAR (http://
alphastarcorp.com) this season. With their vast experience in aerospace and automotive technology it
continues to be a great pairing for the team.

“This is going to be a very competitive and exciting season. We had a win and a top 5 overall last season
and now with a new Super Production Subaru competing in events I have lots of experience in, I know
it will be a great season” stated Karen. “I am so excited for the season to start I am literally counting the
days and hours until our first event”!
