Yvonne Koenig at 24h of Rouen

The 24 hours of Rouen is the most prestigious powerboat endurance race in the world. For the first time the German Yvonne Koenig will take the challenge of the race around the Ile Lacroix. Yvonne joins the French Team Neptune Inshore which started in 2008 and raced within the top 5 in the past years. For Yvonne this is the first time racing an Optimax powered F2 Boat, so this will be a new experience and Yvonne is really excited about being part of this 3 day battle in the rough conditions of river Seine.
This race is not only about being the fastest but also seeing the checkered flag after hundreds of laps, several driver changes and refueling. So a perfect prepared boat and engine are the key to be successful at this endurance race. With Team Neptune, Yvonne found an experienced team where she has the chance to be within the front-runners together with her teammates.
From may 26th to 28th we will see if the combination Yvonne Koenig and Team Neptune can be successful. We will keep everybody updated at Yvonne’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/thesharkbite.net
