Lizzy Musi involved in gnarly wreck at Bristol Dragway

If you follow our social media outlets you know that we were hanging out with Lizzy Musi and crew at Bristol Dragway this weekend for the ADRL Spring Drags III. It was an absolute gorgeous day for racing in Tennessee. Lizzy had posted up a great qualifying time of 4.34-second at 170 MPH which sat her 12th before the final round of qualifying. After a few changes to the car and the temperature had dropped at the track Lizzy was anxious to get out to her last round confident that she could better her time.

As you can see by the videos the run did not end as Lizzy anticipated. She is fine and was able to get out of her car under her own power. Just so happens that right where Lizzy went off there was a camera. Though you can’t see from the camera angle there was a cameraman there. He was able to dive out of the way right at the last minute to escape the carnage. Luckily the car in the lane she ended up in had problems and didn’t complete his run. Below is pictures to show the damage to the car. Lizzy is fine just a bit shaken up. She was back at the track yesterday helping her father, Pat Musi, in his Pro Mod efforts.
